"Sur mon tabouret" (On My Stool) is part of the "Dualité" (Duality) series. In this collection, KiKo stages a contrast in his works: glossy and matte, raw and smooth, bright and subtle.

The subject of this collection is left in its raw state, simply covered with a matte varnish, and the background is coated with resin, giving it that smooth, glossy, and radiant finish typical of KiKo's paintings. The resin grazes the contours of the subject in a subtle play that enhances the effect of duality and contrast.
