Mr. Brainwash at In Arte Veritas !

Cousin of the artist Invader, he met Banksy in 2009 and helped him organize the Barely Legal exhibition in Los Angeles.

Their collaboration led to the documentary “Exit Through the Gift Shop“,

which was presented at the Sundance Film Festival in 2010 and nominated for an Oscar.

This film traces the evolution of the street art movement with Mr. Brainwash, who, alongside Banksy,

makes art accessible to the masses…

Profoundly impacted by this experience, Thierry Guetta embarked on graffiti under the pseudonym Mr. Brainwash.

Inspired by Banksy‘s stencil techniques and Andy Warhol‘s iconic images,

he developed a unique and recognizable style.

Mr. Brainwash became an artist in his own right, fusing pop art and street art.

His works, imbued with humor, references, and subversion,

have met with growing success among collectors worldwide.

His colorful texts and iconography reflect his graffiti-inspired sensibility,

thus diverting icons from their original sources.
