Inaugural Exhibition:
On February 24, 2023, at 7 pm
The choice of the inauguration date was not coincidental:
It coincides with the anniversary of the start of the war in Ukraine.
Particularly affected by this tragic and global event,
Joan Coderch and Javier Malavia have created 3 sculptures
directly inspired by the trauma of the Ukrainian people
and how they nevertheless sought to protect their works of art.
Thus, these 3 sculptures will be exhibited for the first time in the world
on the day of the inauguration of our Spanish gallery.
Knowing that 10% of all sales from the evening
(works by Coderch & Malavia, but also other presented artists)
will be donated to a fund to aid victims of this war.
This event will be an opportunity to discover the striking and fascinating work
of Eloy Morales, as well as the soft and delicate sculptures of Michel Bassompierre,
two new artists from the gallery that we are delighted and proud to present…
You will also discover oil paintings on wood by Joseba Sanchez Zabaleta,
but also the works of Jose-Luis Ceña and Alejandro Quicoces,
our three other talented Spanish artists!
With, of course, the presence of our historical artists:
Sabine Danzé, Erwann Tirilly, Virut Panchabuse, Hom Nguyen,
Nicolas Boutruche, Jean-François Gambino, Thierry Benenati…
Not to mention the universe of Valérie Hadida!
So be with us that evening for an artistic and humanistic event!
