Ernest Massuet is a Spanish sculptor, best known for his animal representations, particularly horses, characterized by remarkable anatomical precision and refined elegance.
From a young age, he developed a passion for horses: around the age of seven, he was given a mare named Daina, with whom he spent countless hours and who became a source of inspiration.
He began modeling animals in clay or plasticine during his early years, already expressing the artistic language that would define his career.
His vocation was further encouraged when a mentor or trainer advised him to dedicate his life to sculpture. He later received support from the Lladró workshop, where he earned a scholarship and learned to master porcelain sculpture, a medium demanding meticulous technical skill (accounting for shrinkage during firing, maintaining proportions, etc.).
Throughout his career, Ernest Massuet has combined artistic sensitivity, anatomical rigor, and technical mastery, creating works of exceptional finesse, often in limited editions. His sculptures are collected worldwide, exhibited internationally, and admired for their elegance and expressiveness.
